About Ronda

Ronda is a quaint Andalucian town famous worldwide for its dramatic escarpments and view. The El Tajo gorge is it´s central viewpoint, looking down onto the Rio Guadalevin and is connected by the Puente Nuevo, the bridge which straddles the two parts of the town. From here you can look down for 120m to the river and across to the views over the Serrania de Ronda mountains which surround the town. Every day, thousands of tourist visit the bridge and can be seen with their cameras, precariously perched through the railings!
